Description

The consultancy includes the assessment of scientific background associated with new plant biotechnological events, the review and analysis of invention documentation, and technical background provided by clients. From this study, a scientific report, specialized in the area of genetics, genomics and plant biotechnology, is issued and aims to advise from the scientific point of view about the degree of inventive activity of the required event evaluating if it is expected or not to reach certain results.

Applications

The consultancies can be useful for those that require to evaluate projects of high scientific novelty, specialized studies in patent registration and drafting, or, for companies that require to make decisions regarding the decision making in their portfolios of projects and/or areas of research and development, among other needs that may arise in areas related to research and innovation based on science in the plant biotechnology sector.

Advantage

Marcelo Yanovsky is a CONICET researcher working at Fundación Instituto Leloir, and has a long career in scientific research in this field, being a national and international reference with more than 70 international publications, some of them in the leading scientific journals such as Nature, Science, PNAS, Plant Cell, etc. In addition, Yanovsky was the permanent representative of CONICET before the CONABIA from 2008 to 2013 and is Associate Professor of Plant Physiology at the School of Agronomy of the Universidad de Buenos Aires.
